We are currently seeking 5 experienced Carpenters with strong framing experience for a commercial construction project in the Ridgeland, Mississippi area.
This role involves light industrial construction work, including building temporary equipment-room enclosures, framing walls, and assisting with installation activities on a large-scale commercial jobsite. Walls will be wood-framed with plywood or poly sheathing and are not prefabricated modular sections.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing and structural carpentry tasks safely and efficiently
- Build temporary walls and equipment-room enclosures
- Use hammer drills and other power tools for installation work
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and jobsite instructions
- Work independently and alongside crew members to meet project schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience required
- Strong framing experience is required
- Commercial or light industrial construction experience preferred
- Experience using hammer drills, saws, and other construction power tools
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle construction materials throughout the workday
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record required
