Independent Carpenter – Framing & Finish Work (3+ Years Experience)
We’re hiring a reliable and experienced independent carpenter who is confident in both framing and finish carpentry. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who can handle a variety of carpentry tasks and general renovation work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform wood and metal stud framing for residential and light commercial projects
- Execute detailed finish carpentry: baseboards, crown molding, doors, window casings, cabinets, etc.
- Read and follow blueprints, sketches, or building plans
- Collaborate with other trades on site when needed
- General renovation work including minor spackling, tiling, and drywall touch-ups
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on carpentry experience (framing and finish work)
- Solid understanding of construction methods, tools, and materials
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
