- Performs comprehensive collision repair and auto body repair on vehicles with significant damage.

Utilizes specialized equipment for precise frame straightening, ensuring structural integrity.

Executes expert welding and panel replacement to restore vehicle body components.

Applies advanced techniques for dent removal, preserving original finishes whenever possible.

Manages all stages of automotive painting, including meticulous surface preparation, sanding & buffing, and precise color matching.

Oversees and performs thorough vehicle disassembly & reassembly, ensuring all components are correctly installed and aligned.

Diagnoses complex repair issues and develops effective repair strategies.

Collaborates with estimators and service advisors to communicate repair progress and identify additional needs.

Mentors less experienced technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Adheres to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Possesses a high school diploma or GED.

Completes vocational training or an apprenticeship in auto body repair.
- Holds a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a lead or A-level technician in a busy body shop environment.

Demonstrates a track record of successfully completing complex collision repairs.
- Applies expert knowledge of collision repair and auto body repair techniques.

Masters the use of equipment for frame straightening.

Performs advanced welding (MIG, TIG, etc.) on various materials.

Excels in panel replacement and structural repair.

Possesses superior skills in dent removal and panel preparation.

Understands and executes all aspects of automotive painting, including paint mixing and application.

Proficiently performs sanding & buffing to achieve factory-quality finishes.

Exhibits strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Communicates effectively with team members and management.
- Holds current ASE certifications in Collision Repair & Refinish.

Possesses I-CAR certifications (e.g., Platinum Individual).

Completes manufacturer-specific training programs.
- Lifts and moves heavy vehicle parts, up to 50 pounds, regularly.

Stands, walks, bends, and stoops for extended periods throughout the workday.

Works in an environment with exposure to paint fumes, dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
