- MORNING SHIFT FROM 7 AM TO 3 PM
We are looking for a reliable, energetic Shift Leader to oversee daily operations during scheduled shifts. You will motivate our barista team, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high beverage quality standards. This role bridges the gap between our baristas and store management, ensuring the cafe runs smoothly even during peak hours.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise Staff: Assign positions, manage break schedules, and motivate the team.
- Quality Control: Ensure drinks meet recipe, presentation, and temperature standards.
- Cash Handling: Count drawers, open or close registers, and drop deposits.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and handle complex orders smoothly.
- Inventory Control: Track stock levels, log waste, and restock milk and beans.
- Store Maintenance: Enforce health, safety, and deep-cleaning checklists. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Skills Required
- Barista Expertise: Advanced knowledge of espresso extraction and milk texturing.
- Time Management: Ability to handle morning rushes while keeping tasks on schedule
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Problem Solving: Quick thinking when equipment breaks or staff calls out.
- Communication: Giving clear feedback to baristas and detailed reports to managers.
