Invisible Capes Medical Solutions is hiring a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a pediatric private duty nursing case in Decatur, GA.
This is a one-on-one in-home nursing position caring for a medically complex pediatric client who recently underwent major spinal surgery.
Schedule & Hours
The client is currently approved for:
Now through October 31:
40 hours of skilled nursing care per week
Beginning November 1:
The case is expected to transition to approximately 4 hours per week of skilled nursing care.
This may be a great opportunity for an RN looking for consistent hours over the next several months, with the option to remain with the client on a limited weekly schedule afterward.

Patient Overview
The pediatric client has complex neurological, orthopedic, and respiratory needs, including:
- Cerebral palsy
- Neuromuscular scoliosis
- Epilepsy and seizure monitoring
- Respiratory needs, including BiPAP
- Limited mobility and assistance with ADLs
- Recent T3-to-pelvis spinal fusion
- Post-operative wound care needs
RN Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home
- Provide wound care and monitor surgical/wound sites
- Monitor for signs of infection, drainage, redness, swelling, or changes in wound condition
- Perform respiratory assessments and BiPAP monitoring
- Provide seizure monitoring and precautions
- Administer medications as ordered
- Perform post-operative assessments and monitoring
- Monitor skin integrity and provide pressure injury prevention
- Assist with positioning, ADLs, and safe transfers
- Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Communicate changes in condition with the family and clinical team
