Patient Overview
- Pediatric client (home setting)
- Diagnoses include:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Obstructive Breathing
- Epilepsy (seizure monitoring required)
- Non-ambulatory (approx. 93 lbs)
- Requires full assistance with ADLs
RN Responsibilities (Private Duty Nursing)
- Provide skilled nursing care in a home health setting
- Assist with ADLs (bathing, grooming, hygiene)
- Perform safe lifting and transfers (93 lbs)
- Monitor for seizure activity and respiratory issues
- Communicate with family and document care accurately
RN Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Experience in pediatric home health, private duty, or medically fragile patients preferred
- Ability to safely lift and assist a non-ambulatory patient
- Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently
Position Details
- PRN RN or LPN | Part-Time
- 1099 Independent Contractor (No Benefits)
- Approx. 4 hours per week
