Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker to join our spirits co-packing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. Your energetic approach will help ensure timely shipping and receiving, accurate order picking, and safe equipment operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment while developing your skills in warehouse management and heavy equipment handling.
Duties
- Safely operate various types of forklifts including ride on trucks, standing trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Conduct thorough inspections on equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency
- Bring packaging materials to production following FIFO.
- Removing finished goods from production and properly storing.
- Manage order picking processes accurately as needed.
- Handle materials with care during loading, unloading, and storage to prevent damage or safety hazards
- Support warehouse distribution tasks by organizing inventory, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as sit on trucks, standing trucks, , and pallet jacks
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling
- Excellent physical strength for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking in a busy warehouse / production setting
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse distribution, or materials handling roles is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00 per hour
