Physician Wellness Provider – HRT, GLP-1 & Longevity Medicine

About the Opportunity
An established and growing aesthetic and wellness practice in the Chicago area is seeking an experienced Physician Wellness Provider to join its team and help lead an expanding wellness program.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is already experienced in hormone replacement therapy (HRT), hormone optimization, GLP-1 medical weight management, peptides, and wellness/longevity medicine and is looking for a flexible, part-time role within a sophisticated, patient-focused practice.
This is not an entry-level wellness position. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience treating wellness patients and be comfortable stepping into the role and beginning patient care with minimal ramp-up.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and manage patients seeking HRT and hormone optimization
- Prescribe and manage GLP-1 medications and medical weight management programs
- Provide peptide therapy and other appropriate wellness treatments
- Develop individualized wellness and longevity treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress, labs, and treatment outcomes
- Help maintain and refine clinical protocols and standards
- Train and mentor Advanced Practice Providers
- Provide clinical leadership as the wellness program continues to grow
- Collaborate closely with practice leadership
- Deliver a highly personalized patient experience
What We're Looking For
Required:
- MD or DO
- Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain one
- Established clinical experience in HRT/hormone optimization and wellness medicine
- Experience prescribing and managing GLP-1 therapies
- Ability to independently evaluate, treat, and manage wellness patients
- Strong patient communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred:
- Experience with peptide therapy and longevity medicine
- Experience training or mentoring APPs
While these specialties are preferred, physicians from all specialty backgrounds are encouraged to apply if they have significant hands-on experience in HRT and wellness medicine. Candidates from Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Integrative Medicine, and other specialties will be considered.
Schedule
This is a part-time position averaging approximately 16–24 hours per week, with time divided between two Chicago-area locations.
Compensation
Competitive W-2 physician compensation based on experience, qualifications, and agreed-upon schedule.
