Delivery Truck Driver Job Description-must hold a valid CDL Class A license

Pull, load materials as needed onto delivery truck, ensuring proper unloading and handling to avoid damage.

Follow assigned route and schedule, ensuring timely deliveries.

Provide excellent customer service skills and ensure customer satisfaction upon delivery.

Keep track of paperwork required for delivery and return proper paperwork to office for billing at the end of each day.

Check the quantity and quality of goods before delivery to ensure they match the order specifications.

Email pictures daily of delivered items with order to the office.

Adhere to all transportation laws and safety regulations to keep a safe driving record.

Ensure all safety measures are followed while lifting and carrying materials.

Address any issues that arise during the delivery process, such as delays or customer complaints, in a professional manner.

The role often requires some lifting of items and being on the move for extended periods.

Forklift/Piggyback experience required.

Perform routine checks and maintenance on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues to management.

Must pass a drug screening.

Must provide a DMV record and be in good standing to be insurable on company policy.
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (overtime may be required as needed)
Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $26 per hour based on experience
