Position Overview
As the first and last point of contact for our golfers, Outside Staff play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience. This is an ideal position for golf enthusiasts, students, retirees, or anyone who enjoys working outdoors in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Greeting & Bag Drop: Welcome players upon arrival, assist with golf bags, provide direction, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Golf Cart Fleet Management: Clean, detail, stage, stock (sand bottles and scorecards), and charge golf carts daily.
- Driving Range Maintenance: Pick range balls using automated/manual equipment, wash range balls, and keep tee stations fully stocked and organized.
- Course Staging: Keep the bag drop area, staging grounds, cart barn, and practice facilities clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
- Player Assistance: Assist golfers as they finish their round by cleaning clubs, collecting carts, and answering questions about the course.
- Course Service Support: Assist the Head Golf Professional with tournament setup, cart staging, and basic guest service duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Customer Service Mindset: Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to help others.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40–50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required to operate golf carts and range utility vehicles safely.
- Punctuality & Reliability: Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Golf Knowledge: Basic familiarity with the game of golf is helpful, but not required—we are happy to train the right person!
