American Traveler is hiring a night-shift CT/X-ray Technologist with at least 1 year of CT and X-ray experience for a radiology department serving outpatient and ED patients.

Radiology department with 8 inpatient beds, mainly serving outpatient and ED patients

CT equipment: Toshiba

EMR: Epic

Night shift, 3x12 schedule

Normally no call requirement

Float requirement between CT and X-ray

Works independently for part of the shift

Transports patients between ED and Radiology

BLS and ARRT (R) certification required

License required if applicable

Minimum of 1 year of CT and X-ray experience required

Able to perform CT and radiographic diagnostic procedures independently without constant supervision

Responsible for preparing orders and finalizing exams within the EMR

Black scrubs required; no non-Mercy branded t-shirts permitted

Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, exemptions must be client approved

Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment

Accepts local candidates, though bill rate is reduced for those within 50 miles of the facility

Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year break or facility change

No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
