Key Responsibilities
- Support shipping logistics end-to-end, including expert packaging/labeling of precision products, document generation (invoices, packing lists, C of Cs, international paperwork), and scheduling carrier pickups.
- Process all incoming shipments, verifying physical counts against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, receiving items in the MRP system, and delivering goods promptly to internal destinations.
- Kit, pull, and stage raw materials, sub-assemblies, and hardware according to Work Orders and BOMs to support high-mix, low-volume production lines.
- Maintain stockroom integrity, floor stock, and point-of-use bins (hardware, supplies, packaging) to ensure continuous material availability and prevent manufacturing downtime.
- Safely transport WIP, components, and finished goods between workstations, stockrooms, and shipping areas to maintain efficient floor workflow.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and process inventory transactions within the MRP system for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure high record accuracy.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized stockrooms and material storage areas.
- Promptly communicate and help resolve any shipping, receiving, or inventory discrepancies with cross-functional team members.· storage areas, ensuring clear labeling, proper bin locations, and clean, safe floor space.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in material handling, inventory control, or shipping and receiving operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding machines.
- Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems, including experience navigating international shipping regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Google Workspace and experience working within an MRP/ERP system.
- Familiarity with reading Bills of Materials (BOMs), Work Orders, and pick lists to accurately stage production jobs.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a detail-oriented approach to managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and communicational skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to load, unload, move, push, or pull shipments, with or without reasonable accommodation.
