The Post Cultivation Specialist is responsible for supporting post-harvest cannabis operations, including harvesting, drying, trimming, sorting, curing, and product preparation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, supporting production goals, and ensuring harvested cannabis is processed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
Working closely with the Post Cultivation Lead and Production team, this position performs daily post-harvest activities, maintains accurate production records, and supports a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to producing premium cannabis products.
- Assist with harvesting mature plants, including de-leafing, hanging, bucking, trimming, sorting, packaging, and weighing

Handle harvested cannabis carefully to maintain product quality and prevent contamination

Monitor drying and curing processes and report quality concerns to leadership

Sort, inspect, trim, and prepare finished flower according to company quality standards

Support product transfers between cultivation, drying, curing, and packaging operations

Maintain accurate production logs and daily activity records
- Support daily production schedules and departmental workflow priorities

Assist with product preparation for packaging and downstream production processes

Cross-train and provide support to other production departments as operational needs require

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects

Perform additional duties as assigned

Maintain accurate production and inventory documentation

Support waste handling and disposal procedures in accordance with company policies

Assist with facility cleaning and organization to support efficient operations
- High school diploma or GED required

Previous cannabis cultivation, trimming, harvesting, or production experience preferred

Previous experience working in a licensed cannabis facility preferred

Must possess and maintain an active FA Card

This role is primarily onsite in Tempe, AZ and requires regular work within cannabis cultivation and post-harvest production environments. The position typically follows a 40-hour workweek, including weekends and overtime as operational needs require.
The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive hand movements throughout the workday. Employees must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds while handling harvested plant material, equipment, and production supplies. Work is performed in an agricultural production environment with exposure to cannabis plants, dust, humidity, varying temperatures, and cleaning agents. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye protection, hair nets, masks, and other required safety equipment, must be worn as required.
