Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all customers receive prompt and attentive service. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and maintain high standards of food handling will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Shifts available for lunch (10:45AM-2:45PM) and dinner (3:45PM-9:00PM) Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Assist with kitchen operations as needed, including communicating guest needs to the culinary team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about food items or specials.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with the Square POS is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and priority management.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
