Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic 4th Grade Math Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Teach foundational math concepts such as multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals through interactive activities and real-world applications.
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and support differentiated learning approaches.
- Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments, including standardized testing preparations.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development initiatives and share best practices in literacy education, early childhood education, and special education.
- Provide mentorship and support to students needing additional tutoring or intervention, including working with children with autism or those requiring early intervention services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Teaching certification for elementary education is preferred.
- Proven classroom experience working with 4th-grade students in diverse educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of math curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies.
- Experience with teaching physical education or integrating movement into lessons is a plus.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and experience preparing students for assessments.
- Skills in proofreading, writing skills, and using learning technology platforms effectively.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $81,000.00 per year
