Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on infant development milestones and early childhood education principles.
- Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster strong communication with parents or guardians, sharing updates on developmental progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Follow all mandated reporting laws and health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants in daycare centers, preschools, or similar childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development instruction, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws is required or highly desirable.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's growth journey.
- Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving infant care can be valuable assets for this role.
