Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide expert advice on cell phone repairs and accessories
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of various devices and accessories
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and checkout procedures
- Upsell complementary products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is clean, inviting, and well-stocked
- Manage inventory by stocking new products, conducting stock counts, and recording stock movements accurately
- Deliver exceptional phone etiquette by communicating clearly, professionally, and enthusiastically with customers at all times
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of smartphone repair or a willingness to learn phone repair is preferred.
Experience activating wireless service plans is a plus.
- Experience working in a cell phone repair shop, wireless carrier store (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.), or electronics retail is highly preferred.
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and retail transactions
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team support roles
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales transactions and inventory management
- Knowledge of cell phones, accessories, or electronics is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential
