Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support FDA initiatives involving application development, business process improvement, federal program operations, and cross-functional project delivery. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, leadership, and program offices, ensuring successful execution of strategic and technology-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functional projects supporting FDA programs and application development initiatives.
- Gather, document, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Support Agile/Scrum project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder coordination.
- Prepare executive-level status reports, project updates, briefing materials, and management summaries.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, requirements sessions, and project planning activities.
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project leadership to support project execution.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, and operational readiness activities.
- Support project financial tracking, budget monitoring, resource planning, and federal program management activities.
- Maintain project documentation in Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Support process improvement and organizational modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, PMO Analyst, Project Analyst, Program Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience supporting application development, IT modernization, or digital transformation projects.
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including sprint ceremonies, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience preparing executive reports, project status updates, and briefing materials.
- Experience tracking project budgets, financial metrics, resource allocations, or federal program funding activities.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and cross-functional discussions.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and project management best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal agencies, preferably FDA, HHS, NIH, CDC, or other healthcare/public health organizations.
- Experience with federal budgeting, program financial management, acquisition support, or government-funded programs.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
- PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Business Analysis certifications.
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization, digital transformation, or application development programs.
Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
