US Merchants is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Information Technology to lead and manage our IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, and technology initiatives across multiple facilities. This is a senior leadership position that will play a critical role in supporting the company's continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's IT strategy to support business objectives.
- Lead and manage all IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and end-user support.
- Oversee ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and business applications.
- Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, and technology investments.
- Ensure data security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead technology projects, system implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Establish IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing IT team.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities where technology can improve efficiency, productivity, and customer service.
- Provide leadership in evaluating emerging technologies and business solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including experience managing multi-site operations.
- Strong background in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, ERP systems, and enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading complex technology projects and managing IT teams.
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with JD Edwards, warehouse management systems, and manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations across the United States.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, disaster recovery planning, and IT governance.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of developing a long-term technology strategy while also ensuring the day-to-day reliability and performance of the company's IT environment.
