Job Summary
Metro Motor Towing is seeking a dependable and motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our growing towing operation. This role is ideal for individuals with prior truck driving experience who are looking for steady work, paid training, and long-term opportunity. Drivers will operate wheel-lift and flatbed tow trucks to support Metro Motor service stations and customers across the DMV area.
Schedule & Pay
- Pay: $200 per day (with increase after 90 days based on performance)
- Shift: Daytime 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM OR Overnight 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Schedule: 6 days per week
- Break: 30-minute break per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles as assigned
- Load and unload vehicles using wheel-lift and flatbed equipment
- Respond to dispatch requests promptly and professionally
- Secure vehicles properly and follow all safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and shop staff
- Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of assigned tow truck
- Represent Metro Motor Towing professionally with customers
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience driving a truck (tow experience preferred but not required)
- Willingness and ability to operate wheel-lift and flatbed tow trucks
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or excessive accidents
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work overnight shifts and remain alert and safety-focused
- Dependable, punctual, and coachable
- Comfortable working independently
