Position Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual Korean/English Etch Field Service Engineer to support semiconductor equipment service operations in the Austin / Taylor, TX area.
This role is ideal for candidates with semiconductor equipment experience, especially those with Etch, field service, maintenance, troubleshooting, or fab support experience. Experienced semiconductor candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Support on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and service of semiconductor Etch equipment.
- Interpret equipment manuals, procedures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using electronics knowledge, test instruments, and service tools.
- Communicate with customer engineering and technical teams to support service requests.
- Analyze equipment performance data to improve uptime, efficiency, and system reliability.
- Provide technical training and guidance to customer engineering and maintenance staff.
- Prepare service reports, troubleshooting summaries, and progress updates.
- Support urgent service needs as required.
- Lift up to 35 lbs and work in an industrial manufacturing environment, including climbing stairs.
- Overtime and/or weekend work may be required depending on project and site needs.
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual in Korean and English.
- Semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred.
- Etch equipment experience highly preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related technical field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on semiconductor equipment experience may be considered even without a four-year degree.
- Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer, Equipment Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or Semiconductor Technician preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
