Certified Dog Trainer / Behavior Consultant – Independent Contractor
Shelby Semel Dog Training is looking for a certified dog trainer or behavior consultant with at least 3 years of experience to join our team as an independent contractor.
This role includes teaching private training sessions ranging from puppy foundations to behavior modification for more complex issues, as well as teaching at least one group class per week (evenings).
Applicants should be independent, reliable, organized, personable, and responsive with clients. They should live in or around NYC area for easy daily commute.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of professional training experience
- Certification from a reputable organization
- Science-based / force-free training approach only
- Availability during daytime, weeknight, and weekend hours 4+ days a week.
- Must be willing to work in Manhattan
