Morning Glory AFC is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals who require care in various settings.
( WE WILL TRAIN YOU IN ALL SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITES )
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Implement care plans and provide companionship to clients
- Monitor and report changes in clients health or behavior
- Assist with meal preparation and medication distribution
- Provide emotional support and engage clients in social activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Skills:
- Experience in assisted living or home healthcare
- Knowledge of documentation and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Strong conflict management skills
- Keeping a clean and safe environment
- Ability to provide direct support with empathy and compassion
- Valid driver's license for transporting clients if required.
( MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT)
