Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth functioning across departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
- Lead and supervise hotel staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to cultivate a motivated and professional team
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and optimize profitability through pricing adjustments and promotional initiatives
- Develop and monitor budgets, control costs, and oversee financial reporting to achieve financial targets
- Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, recruitment efforts, and employee development programs
- Oversee compliance with safety standards, hotel policies, and local regulations to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff
- Handle night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and reporting at the end of each day
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette to assist guests efficiently and professionally
- Foster a positive guest experience by maintaining high standards of hospitality, guest services, and resort amenities
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff members
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management, guest services, and hotel operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance improvements
- Expertise in human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control measures
