Acquisition & Development Supervisor

New York Land & Lakes (NYL&L) has been buying and developing rural and recreational land across Upstate NY since 1994. We're growing our acquisitions team and looking for a self-starter who wants to build a career finding, negotiating, and developing large-acreage land, from the first conversation with a landowner all the way through subdivision approval and sale.
What You'll Do
- Identify large-acreage parcels for acquisition.
- Manage each parcel through subdivision from start to finish: surveys, percolation tests, and municipal planning board submissions.
- Keep a clean, current pipeline so nothing falls through the cracks.
What We're Looking For
- A self-starter with good judgment, patience, and follow-through.
- Someone comfortable walking large land tracts with the vision required to see what a final product might look like.
- Someone comfortable walking into a town planning board meeting or working side by side with a surveyor or engineer, and making a strong, credible case.
- A professional presence. You'll look, act, and dress the part.
- Training is provided.
Compensation
- Our most recent Acquisition Specialist averaged $250,000/yr over the last 5 years
- Includes base salary, commission, vehicle allowance, paid expenses, health insurance

· Driving and local travel is required
