How does it get done?
The Senior Business Operations Analyst is responsible for:
Creating requisitions, processing purchase orders and invoices and the tracking of budgets to ensure that monies are spent as allocated;
Accurately processing travel arrangements and travel reimbursements within an outlined deadline time frame;
Assigning and following up with constituent complaints in the database used for tracking and resolution purposes;
Managing the front office, answering the main phone line and responding to voicemails;
Consistently complying with Health Care Authority (HCA) policies and Code of Conduct guidelines and staying informed of evolving policies, laws and regulations;
Providing high-level and confidential business and administrative support to staff in the HCA Office Of the Secretary (OOS).

Minimum Qualification
Associate Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Accounting and one (1) year of directly related job experience in the areas of office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management, contract management, and/or in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
