Extrusion Machine Operator — Entry Level

We've been manufacturing plastic coil binding and filament products in Boise since 1993. We're hiring Extrusion Operators for immediate openings.
About Us:
PVC Spiral Supply operates 24 coil forming machines and 10 extruders in Garden City. We're the largest plastic coil binding manufacturer in the U.S. This is production manufacturing work with a fixed 12-hour shift schedule including weekends.
Schedule:(Read Carefully)
- 12-hour shifts, 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM (or 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
- Shift A: Sunday – Tuesday + every other Wednesday
- Shift B: Every other Wednesday – Saturday
- You will be assigned to Shift A or Shift B
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting at $17.00/hour (DOE)
- 90-day probationary period

- Vacation accrues on your hire anniversary (also used for sick/personal time):
- Years 1–5: 40 hours/year
- Years 5–10: 80 hours/year
- 10+ years: 120 hours/year
- Paychecks on the 5th and 20th of each month
What You'll Do:
- Operate and monitor rigid PVC extrusion equipment
- Feed material and monitor output quality
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
- Maintain clean, organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for 12-hour shifts
- Lift and handle up to 75 lbs regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent
What You Need:
- No extrusion experience required — we train on the job
- Reliable attendance (this schedule requires consistency)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts as assigned
