American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a compact or OK RN license and 2 years of relevant experience.

Work in the MS/Tele unit of a hospital environment
-
Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
-
Patient ratio of 1:4-6
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities up to 75 miles away
-
No block scheduling accommodations available

Active RN license (Compact or OK State) currently in hand
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
-
EKG Course/Telemetry test certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
-
Experience with pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) required
-
Charge nurse experience preferred
-
Skilled in IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, blood product administration, and PICC line management
-
Skilled in respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tube care
-
Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry remote monitoring
-
Skilled in wound care/wound vac and isolation precautions/PPE
-
Experience with ortho trauma, total joint replacement, and traction preferred
-
Experience with seizure disorders and substance withdrawal preferred

Current, valid DL or state-issued ID required for consideration

Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address within the last three months required for consideration

Two supervisory references required

Provide comprehensive Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care including cardiac monitoring, wound care, and management of complex medical conditions

Candidates must reside greater than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
-
Maximum RTO of 5 days accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Local candidates are not accepted due to the 75-mile radius requirement

Former INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from the health system to be eligible
