Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and assist with modalities to promote healing and mobility.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessment documentation to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) management protocols.
- Support discharge planning by providing patients with education on exercises and self-care strategies for continued recovery at home.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care across settings such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and outpatient clinics.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state or national regulations.
- Experience working in outpatient clinics and long term care facities is desirable but will consider new Graduates with strong skills and abilty to work independently
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy and trigger point therapy.
- Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation standards and medical documentation practices.
- Experience operating medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments.
- Excellent skills in electronic health records (EHR) management for accurate record keeping.
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes to support seamless patient transitions from hospital or facility to home or other care settings.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments such as outpatient clinics.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
