Job Summary
Personal injury lawyer seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal/Law Office Secretary to join our legal team. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Previous experience with personal injury cases preferred.

Responsibilities
- Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources to support case preparation across various practice areas including civil litigation, estate planning, tribal law, patent law, and workers' compensation law.
- Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Coordinate client interviews and maintain effective communication to gather necessary information for case development.
- Support case management activities by maintaining detailed files, tracking deadlines, and preparing case summaries.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone inquiries with professional etiquette, and organizing filings in compliance with procedural law requirements.
- Proofread and transcribe legal documents to ensure accuracy before submission or filing.
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, preparing reports, and handling confidential information discreetly.
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Previous experience with personal injury cases
- Poven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of procedural law and various practice areas including family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, personal injury law, immigration law, and general litigation.
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with document review and case management software like iManage or PCLaw is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear legal documents and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with experience in data entry and clerical tasks such as filing and document management.
- Knowledge of UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), procedural rules, litigation support processes, and confidentiality protocols.
- Ability to perform research accurately while maintaining attention to detail; familiarity with Westlaw or LexisNexis is preferred.
- Professional demeanor with exceptional phone etiquette; ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
