Universal Logistics of Virginia, LLC (A wholly owned subsidiary of Estes Express Lines, Inc) is currently seeking a Full Time Dispatcher/Customer Service - Clerks for a The Home Depot account in Sparrows Point, MD. (Night Shift)
Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday ; 11am - 7pm
The desired candidate will possess a Team-Player outlook and will be a key element to smooth daily operations. Daily tasks and responsibilities will include scheduling and coordination, route planning, customer service, communication on various levels to include monitoring, tracing and problem solving.
Qualifications:
- Prior customer service experience preferred Strong oral & written communication skills.
- Must be self-directed & detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Prior transportation experience desired.
- Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
- Must be able to interact well with others.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high stress environment.
- Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
- High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Responds well to questions.
- Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines.
- Must pass a pre-employment a criminal history background check and will be subject to a drug test.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
