As our Home Health Office Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting both our office operations and the clients we serve. This unique blended position combines administrative responsibilities with direct client support, making every day meaningful and rewarding. The role provides administrative support for the Home Health Agency while also assisting with client care needs to help ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.

Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and assist visitors with questions and inquiries.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and office communications.
- Maintain organized physical and electronic files and records.

Assist with data entry, documentation, and record keeping.
- Support caregiver scheduling and coordination.
Client Support & Coordination

Assist with client intake processes and onboarding.

Schedule client appointments and coordinate service visits with caregivers.

Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.

Provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction.

Encourage participation in activities and conversations that promote well-being.

Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household support needs.

Monitor and report changes in client condition, including vital signs.

Follow established care plans and support home exercise programs.

Assist with medication reminders and help maintain a safe home environment

High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

Previous administrative or office support experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
- Experience working with seniors or in a home health environment.
