Nelson Delivery Inc. has been an Independent contractor for FedEx Corporation for 21+ years on going. Our terminal is located at 225 Whites Path, South Yarmouth.
Looking for drivers to service Barnstable, Hyannis, Hyannis port, West Yarmouth, Yarmouth Port, and South Yarmouth areas. Full-time and part-time positions available
Company hours of operation are Monday - Saturday

Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Navigate using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing routes.

Requirements
- Experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- CDL license NOT required
- Must have experience operating commercial trucks. The vans we operate are 14' - 22' in length.
- Must be able to operate the company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is beneficial.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
- Must be able to lift atleast 50 lbs. and move items safely.
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1 year delivery driving experience. Training programs available for the right applicants.
