Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or designated areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure safe and attractive surfaces.
- Manage custodial tasks including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens.
- Assist with outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or garden cleaning and maintaining outdoor common areas.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury.
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in janitorial work, residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and floor care techniques.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests or residents.
- Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.
- Experience with laundry processes and custodial responsibilities preferred.
- Familiarity with outdoor maintenance tasks is a plus.
