Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal massage, and trigger point therapy to meet individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand health history, preferences, and specific pain points for tailored treatment plans.
- Deliver professional esthetic services such as facials, skin analysis, and other skincare treatments to promote healthy skin.
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment procedures, benefits, and aftercare instructions to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with health regulations and company standards.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout each session.
- Stay informed on the latest techniques in physiology, anatomy, occupational health, and medical terminology to provide safe and effective care.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist and/or Esthetician in accordance with state or local regulations.
- Proven experience in massage therapy including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and trigger point therapy.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pain management techniques, and occupational health principles.
- Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately.
- Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
