We provide a full 2 weeks of on-boarding and training to ensure comfort with our systems, standards and process.
Duties
As a Traveling Pet Stylist, you’re not just here to make pets look and smell amazing—you’re here to help them feel better than you found them, and to give their pet parent peace of mind with every visit. We hold a high standard for communication, cleanliness, safety, and honest client satisfaction. At Petbox, we protect your personal time, respond quickly when life gets messy, and create a culture where groomers are encouraged—not exploited. This industry is demanding, but it can also be deeply rewarding. Flexibility to work 3 - 4 days (work life balance), average of 4-5 dog/day, and thoroughly clean and disinfect between apts and final closing duties. Estimated days are 7:30 am - 6:30 pm.
What you will actually do
You’ll deliver luxury, white-glove grooming services to high-trust clients who actually value your expertise. Every appointment is pre-screened, priced for your time and efforts, and attempted to be routed for efficiency. Greet each client on time, review their preferences, and perform the full range of grooming services based on the pet’s coat, condition, and temperament, confirm satisfaction, and help them rebook to ensure consistent care. In addition to grooming, you’ll handle opening and closing duties that uphold our high standards—prepping your workspace with clean tools and products, and completing a detailed pet profile with before-and-after photos and a checklist of all approved services performed.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 yrs experience in professional pet grooming is required, with a strong background in dog handling and safe animal restraint techniques.
- Tools and equipment to be in good working condition
- Knowledge- in breed standard grooms- scissoring, general cleaning, nail trimming
- Flexibility- schedule (1 weekend day/wk) earn great pay working just 4 long days
- Perform- opening & closing duties to maintain the equipment, restock product, and cleanliness on the van.
- Ability to safely drive large vehicles, clean vans properly after shifts
- Customer service experience is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and basic equipment knowledge
- Ability to pass background check for safety and insurance purposes.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
