The Wide format print helper/installer assists in all aspects of the physical production and workflow of signs and graphics to include coordination of materials, hands-on print production, and quality control. Operates large format digital printers, latex roll to roll printers, laminators, and Zund cutter/router. Helps with install of signage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience preferred in large format digital printers and equipment to include flatbed, roll to roll, laminators, and und Routers
- CNC Machinist experience a plus
- Proven multi-tasking ability and attention to detail
- Knowledgeable regarding sign substrates and vinyl films
- Vinyl graphic installation experience a plus
- Understanding of print production workflow
- Coordinate with Wide Format Supervisor for scheduling workflow
- Flexibility in assisting in other departments during down times
- Ability to prioritize workflow under stressful deadlines with multiple projects ongoing simultaneously
- Strong positive attitude, great organizational skills, and strong work ethic
- Installation of signs (on and offsite)
- Carpentry skills
Education and/or Experience:
2+ years experience in large format digital print and sign production for commercial sign company or printer preferred. The right candidate can be trained.
Physical demands:
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
