Group Home Operations Manager
Pay: $24–$28 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, with flexibility as needed
We are hiring a Group Home Operations Manager to help lead daily operations in a children’s group home. This is a hands-on leadership position. The manager may be part of the staff-to-client ratio and must be comfortable working directly with children with behavioral and developmental needs.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, firm, professional, and able to lead staff . This person will help manage schedules, review paperwork, communicate with parents and coordinators, schedule doctor appointments, and make sure the home runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
Manage staff schedules and daily operations
Work directly with children
Monitor attendance, call-outs, lateness, and coverage
Review daily notes, behavior documentation, and paperwork
Communicate with parents, coordinators, clinical team, doctors, and leadership
Help train and coach staff
Report behavior concerns accurately and on time
Help maintain a structured, safe, and compliant home
Requirements
Group home experience strongly preferred
Experience working with children with behavioral needs required
RBT certification required or must be obtained after hire
Strong leadership and communication skills
Strong documentation and follow-up skills
Must be reliable, organized, professional, and calm under pressure
