Job Description:
Branch Managers Tree Service is currently hiring a skilled and dependable Tree worker / Mechanic to support our tree crews and maintain our equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, understands tree service operations, and has strong mechanical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with tree removal and trimming operations on the ground
- Safely operate chainsaws and assist with rope and rigging systems
- Operate equipment such as skid steers and other machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on chippers, diesel trucks, and bucket trucks
- Diagnose mechanical issues and keep equipment in safe working condition
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Qualifications:
- Experience in tree service, landscaping, or heavy labor preferred
- Knowledge of chainsaw use, ropes, and rigging techniques
- Strong mechanical skills (diesel engines, hydraulics, small engines)
- Experience working on chippers and heavy-duty trucks/equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus)
