About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Food Service Director (FSD) to join our team. The Food Service Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional dining experiences that meet their nutritional needs and exceed their expectations.
Food Service Director (FSD) Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and dietary aides
Develop and implement menus that cater to specific dietary needs and preferences
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop personalized meal plans for residents
Manage food inventory, ordering, and storage
Maintain accurate records of food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and resident satisfaction surveys
Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer service within the dietary department
Food Service Director (FSD) Requirements:
Food Service Director (FSD) experience in a long-term care or sub-acute setting
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer service
