Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant Assistant Teacher and Toddler Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional security at all times.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that foster early childhood development, including sensory play, language acquisition, motor skills, and social interaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and interests to tailor individual learning plans.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development, milestones, and daily experiences.
- Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that support inclusive learning for children with diverse needs or disabilities.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions between activities.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health protocols, and safety procedures related to childcare and early childhood education.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is a plus.
- Classroom management skills that promote positive behavior and engagement among young children.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are advantageous.
- Familiarity with childcare licensing requirements, health safety standards, and emergency procedures.
- Proven ability to nurture a caring environment while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced setting.
