H2L Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Production Designer to support a federal customer by producing high-quality print and digital communications products. The Production Designer is responsible for developing, formatting, and producing a wide variety of visual communication materials, technical documentation, presentations, reports, signage, and other deliverables while ensuring compliance with customer branding, editorial standards, and production specifications.
The ideal candidate possesses strong production design skills, advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, experience operating professional digital print equipment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering accurate, professional-quality products.

Produce and finalize highquality print and digital communication products for Government and commercial customers.

Design, format, and prepare printready layouts for reports, technical documentation, presentations, posters, signage, displays, bound documents, and other visual communication products.

Operate and maintain professional digital production equipment, including highend digital color presses, largeformat printers, badge printers, document finishing equipment, and media duplication systems.

Perform quality assurance reviews to verify formatting, typography, branding, editorial accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications prior to production.

Troubleshoot production equipment issues and resolve file compatibility or print production challenges to meet established deadlines.

Manage multiple production requests simultaneously while prioritizing work to support customer requirements.

Collaborate with graphic designers, project managers, technical personnel, and customers to ensure successful project execution.

Maintain organized production workflows, files, and documentation throughout each project lifecycle.

Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to customer service while supporting additional production requirements as assigned.

Ensure all products meet established standards for quality, accuracy, consistency, and visual presentation.

Minimum of three (3) years of professional production design experience with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related discipline; or

Minimum of five (5) years of professional production design experience with an Associate's degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience producing professional print and digital communication products.

Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including: o InDesign

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience working within Microsoft Windows 11 operating systems.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong proofreading skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.

Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense customers is highly desirable.

Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
Associate's degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

Frequently sit, stand, and walk throughout office and production environments.

Operate computers, digital print production equipment, and document finishing machinery for extended periods.

Frequently lift, carry, and move paper stock, printed materials, signage, and production supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.

Visual acuity sufficient to perform detailed inspections of printed and digital products.

Manual dexterity required for operating production equipment and finishing devices.
This position is primarily performed onsite within a professional office and production environment supporting federal customers. Work requires close collaboration with project teams and customers while managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Minimal local travel may be required to support customer meetings, project activities, or business operations. Overnight travel is not anticipated.
