Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team. This is a full-time locum opportunity in Mansfield, Texas, offering a consistent weekday schedule and a broad adult surgical caseload.
You will provide comprehensive physician-led anesthesia care while working alongside a dedicated group of medical professionals in a modern clinical setting that prioritizes patient safety, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Provide anesthesia for a broad range of adult surgical procedures
- Manage patients throughout induction, maintenance, emergence, and postoperative recovery
- Respond to perioperative complications and support safe clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with CRNAs, CAAs, surgeons, nurses, and operating room leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program
- Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology
- Active Texas medical license, or eligibility to obtain
- Current ACLS certification and recent clinical anesthesia experience
Schedule & Coverage
- Full-time weekday coverage
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Schedule falls Monday through Friday
- Broad surgical caseload
- No pediatric or cardiac cases
