AllCraft Manufacturing is an Architectural Millwork shop fabricating high end millwork and plastic laminate cabinetry. We are looking for a talented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. Our company is committed to manufacturing a high-quality product.
Essential Functions:
- Wrap, pack and load manufactured materials in company trucks.
- Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to determine that quantities are correct.
- Operate pallet jack and forklift for loading and unloading materials
- Operate company vehicle to deliver shipments if needed; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Completely and accurately fill out all required shipping documentation
- Work to help others in the department as needed.
- Willingness to work in all areas of manufacturing as needed.
Required Experience and Competencies:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must read and speak English
- Working knowledge of computers
- Attendance and punctuality is a must
- Forklift experience a must
· Good communication skills
· Team player
Work Environment and Physical Demands: This position operates in a millwork shop environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; move about; sit; to carry work and use controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; communicate. The employee will lift or move up to 20 lbs. Take parts out of the machine and place on table. Specific vision abilities required by the employee include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, etc.
Environmental Conditions: The work environment has noise, fumes, odors, gases, dust, hazards, etc.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This position is full time and the expected hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime either before 7am or after 3:30pm is required as needed. Saturday overtime is required as needed.
