Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and basic food safety practices to support kitchen staff when needed
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and enhance guest experiences
- Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and surrounding spaces by bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met
- Support food industry operations by understanding menu items, serving guests promptly, and managing time effectively during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Previous restaurant experience or retail math knowledge is a plus for success in this role

Pay: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour
