About the Role
This is a mid-level commercial role responsible for three of Fibertech’s most significant revenue streams: Developing and managing the repair and refurbishment business and driving seasonal refurbished seed box sales. The Commercial Account Manager owns a high-value portfolio for repair, and seasonal product lines, and is expected to protect existing relationships, grow account value, and open new business — particularly in repair services, where market opportunity significantly exceeds our current penetration.
Duties and Responsibilities
Distribution Account Management
- Own and grow Fibertech’s distribution account relationships across industrial, commercial, and agricultural channels, including material handling distributors, bulk container specialists, industrial supply companies, and ag dealers
- Lead pricing strategy, account planning, and demand generation to grow revenue and improve competitive positioning across the distribution base
- Work closely with distribution partners to understand their customers’ needs and develop strategies that drive sell-through and strengthen Fibertech’s position within their product offering
- Identify and onboard new distribution partners in industrial, commercial, and agricultural markets
- Partner with inside support staff on order management, follow-up, and customer service for high-volume accounts
Repair & Refurbishment Business Development
- Develop and grow commercial opportunities for Fibertech’s plastics repair and refurbishment services across industrial gas, agricultural, food and protein handling, and commercial segments.
- Prospect and qualify new accounts by building the economic case for repair versus replacement of durable plastic containers and equipment.
- Develop customer-specific proposals in collaboration with operations, ensuring scope and pricing align with shop capabilities.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline in HubSpot and report activity and conversion progress to leadership regularly.
Refurbished Seed Box Sales (Seasonal – Mid-November through Mid-April)
- Actively manage and execute seasonal sales of refurbished CenterFlow-style seed boxes into the network.
- Develop and maintain relationships with seed companies, co-operatives, and dealers who purchase refurbished seed boxes.
- Coordinate with operations on inventory and lead times to ensure accurate customer commitments throughout the selling season.
Agricultural Product Line
- Support and grow sales of Fibertech’s ag product line — including seed boxes, mineral feeders, bunk feeders, and stock tanks — through the existing network.
- Represent Fibertech at agricultural trade shows, field days, and industry events as applicable.
General
- Meet and exceed revenue targets across all assigned lines of business.
- Travel regularly within territory; manage time and activity independently with a high degree of professionalism.
- Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer needs to inform company strategy.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of outside sales or account management experience in material handling, agriculture sales, commercial supply, manufacturing, or a related B2B market.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a multi-faceted book of business across diverse account types and selling cycles.
- Equally comfortable managing existing accounts and developing new business; this role requires both.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills; able to earn trust at multiple levels of a customer organization.
- Self-directed with strong organizational habits; able to manage a complex territory and pipeline independently.
- CRM proficiency required (HubSpot preferred); disciplined about activity tracking and pipeline management.
- Agricultural market familiarity is a plus but not required; industrial, commercial, or material handling sales experience is equally valued.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory, including overnight travel as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-directed with strong organizational habits.
- CRM proficiency required (HubSpot preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Agricultural market familiarity.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or material handling sales.
Pay range and compensation package
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure commensurate with portfolio responsibility.
- Mileage reimbursement for territory travel.
- Comprehensive product and service training across Fibertech’s full portfolio.
- A high-ownership commercial role with direct visibility to senior leadership.
- An entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment with expanding product lines and service capabilities.
