Position Duties and Responsibilities
Dishwashing & Sanitation
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
Ensure all items are cleaned, sanitized, and sotred properly.
Maintain proper use of cleaning chemicals and sanitation standards.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Kitchen Cleanliness
Keep dishwashing area clean, organized, and free from clutter.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly.
Clean and sanitize sinks, counters, and dish machines.
Take out trash and recycling; replace liners as needed.
Equipment Maintenance
Operate and maintain dishwahing machines safely.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Ensure proper temperature and chemical levels in machines.
Support to Kitchen Staff
Assist cooks and kitchen staff by restocking clean dishes and supplies.
Help with basic food prep tasks if assigned.
Maintain steady flow of clean items to support kitchen operations.
Conduct other duties directed.
Inventory & Organization
Organize clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in designated areas.
Monitor and report low levels of cleaning supplies or dishware.
Safety & Compliance
Follow workplace safety standards to prevent slips, burns, or injuries.
Wear appropriate personal protective equioment.
Comply with company policies and local health department regulations
