Provider Network Specialist Opportunity!
Location: Remote (Candidates must have B2B experience in the San Diego, CA area)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire -Ideally!
What You'll Do
- Partner with the Provider Contracting Manager to support provider network growth initiatives.
- Assist with business development efforts to increase brand awareness and expand provider partnerships.
- Research, compile, and present reports on provider network growth and business development activities.
- Identify and recruit new Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) for participation in the IPA network.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, specialists, ancillary providers, health plans, and MSOs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to increase referrals and support organizational growth initiatives.
- Assist with public relations and outreach efforts to strengthen community and provider engagement.
- Maintain accurate provider relationship documentation and support ongoing network management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of current experience in provider relations, business development, client relations, sales, or customer-focused healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated success growing business relationships or managing a book of business.
- Experience working directly with healthcare providers and business partners.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience within managed care, provider contracting, IPA, MSO, or health plan environments is strongly preferred.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
