Schedule:
- Tuesdays to Thursdays: 4:55 PM – after closing (approx. 9:00 PM)
- Fridays & Saturdays: 4:55 PM – after closing (approx. 10:00 PM)
Position Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas. This role is essential to keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting both the back-of-house and front-of-house teams during service and closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station at all times.
- Assist with trash removal and recycling at the end of the shift.
- Sweep and mop designated kitchen areas as part of closing duties.
- Restock clean dishes and utensils to the proper stations.
- Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks when needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Communicate any equipment issues to the manager or kitchen lead.
- Stay until all closing cleaning tasks are completed.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Team-oriented and willing to help where needed.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required.
