What you’ll do
- Assemble mechanical components according to detailed blueprints and schematics, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and forklift operation when necessary.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly, fabrication, or machine and equipment repair.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with machine and equipment assembly processes and techniques.
- Background in manufacturing environments with warehouse experience.
- Certification or training in mechanical equipment, hydraulics, maintenance, and repair.
