To provide high quality, specially designed instruction to students with disabilities. The Teacher will focus on development and implementation of student IEP’s, planning and implementation of daily instructional activities, monitoring student progress and providing consultation to staff, health care aides, agencies, parents and administrators.

Valid Michigan teaching certificate, with approval by the Michigan Department of Education in an area of special education (All endorsement areas considered)

Ability to program for and motivate students to develop to their fullest potential in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains

Interpersonal skills which promote positive personal relationships with students, parents, staff and community is required
